Extremely frivolous and unnecessary.....

Sometimes it's fun to make an extremely frivolous and unnecessary wish-list. It's fun to "window shop" and dream and it's okay to do so.  These are a few of the things on my "wish-list" that I know will never come to fruition, and they don't need to. It's just plain fun. :)

The BOB Ironman Duallie.
The elite double jogging stroller. I don't even think I could run and push two kids at once...but it'd be nice to try.
But at $400....yeah right.

The Pottery Barn Swivel Glider with Ottoman.'s beautiful.
And at only $650 plus shipping it can be yours!

Doc Martens
Might not seem frivolous to you...unless the most you've paid for a pair of shoes since you had kids was $40 :)

2011 Honda Odyssey
I never ever ever ever thought I'd say I wanted a van. But then this van came along and captured my heart.
I figured since this was a dream list...I'd go ahead and shoot for the Touring Elite.
And at $47,'ll remain on this list :)
Good thing I LOVE our Honda Pilot!!

Doesn't have to be a Canon...this just represents the fact that I'd love a DSLR camera some day. Not to become a pro or anything...just to take good pictures of my kiddos. And have some fun. My sis-in-law is a photographer along with several of my this would just be for me :)

Petunia Picklebottom Bag made especially for Mom's of multiples. Retails at $198...yeah I have that kind of money for a bag that carries diapers. HA! But isn't it super chic?!?!

This represents getting my hair done. I used to get it cut/colored a lot. Just for fun. Nothing crazy or super high maintenance...but I played around a lot.'s an extra that isn't necessary. So I'd say....this represents going in every 4-6 weeks so I could do whatever I wanted.

Well, that was fun. I'm sure I could spend all day thinking of more. But that's enough for now. What are some of your "frivolous wants" that you're okay with never having?!

  1. I LOVE the bob strollers! I've had friends get them for such a great price on CL! You should start watching the Portland CL, etc. Also, that pottery barn chair is awesome--but it's white, that must not have been designed by someone who has kids! lol. In a different color it would be awesome.

  2. Oh, wish lists...such fun!!! I have a drawer full of torn out pages from magazines, pictures of "dream rooms"...nothing I'd ever truly have in my own home, but it holds lots to inspire me on a smaller scale :)
    Love the petunia picklebottom bag!!

BeautiControl Giveaway!

Have you heard of BeautiControl? This is an incredible line of skin care products that truly work ! It's skin care, bath and body, makeup and men's care! When I was pregnant a friend of mine who sells this came over and pampered me and a few friends, and then I started using the face system just before the babies were born. It did wonders. Then I ran out, and I put it off and my skin got bad again. And then about 2 weeks ago I started using it again. Wow. A visible difference in just two weeks. It looks better and feels better! Face Lift Line I am super picky about my skincare items, and I don't buy just anything.  Plus, I still struggle with breakouts. This stuff not only smells amazing, and makes my skin feel incredibly soft, but it does it's job. They have a huge line that you will have to check out, just go over to their website and browse around! You can see if there is a consultant in your area and host a spa party!!! Today I am giving away a Chocolate Indulgence

What’s more lame than having one type of cancer? Having two.

I had two colon polyps that popped positive for cancer. The thing is, they were in such different places they are considered two different cancers. Colon stage 3a and Rectal stage 3b . What’s more sexy than that?  My 5 weeks of radiation and oral chemo was to kill off any remaining cancer cells in the rectal area because even though my surgeon (while tactless) actually did an amazing job by literally remaking that whole area internally and avoiding any sort of colostomy bag- you can’t guarantee you got it all. So standard practice is always pelvic radiation for that area.  The chemotherapy infusions are to make sure every last naughty cell in my body is gone. Because I had it in one of the lymph nodes they removed, it showed this cancer was able to travel which is how cancer spreads to your other body parts. If it wasn’t in the lymph nodes yet chemo wouldn’t have been necessary. So glad we caught this when we did and that I actually had symptoms to warrant a colonoscopy. Often times th
